About the role
We are seeking a per diem physical therapist to join our world-class Acute Care Rehab team. As a member of our renowned physical therapy team, you will provide care for a diverse range of patients of all ages. Upon referral by a physician, you will evaluate patient condition, determine the appropriate treatment plan, and set rehabilitation goals. Educating patients and family members on the most up-to-date approaches to the rehabilitation process will be an important part of this role. The commitment includes a minimum of 1-2 weekend days per month, with the option for more hours if interested.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient condition upon physician referral
- Determine appropriate treatment plans and set rehabilitation goals
- Educate patients and family members on up-to-date rehabilitation approaches
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current NYS license
- At least two years of acute care experience (acute care orthopedic experience preferred)
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Weekend coverage is mandatory
Pay
The base pay scale for this position is $72.00 - $72.00. The salary of the finalist selected will be determined based on factors including scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and Fair Market Value evaluation. This position is also eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role.
Schedule
Per diem, part-time. Minimum commitment of 1-2 weekend days per month, with the option for more hours if interested.
