Physical Therapist Per Diem-ESCR

About the Role

This is a per diem position with hours and schedule based on the needs of the clinic. The role involves delivering treatment services to children aged 0–21 years, conducting evaluations, and handling job-related department responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment for 10–12 patients per day.
• Supervise student interns as directed by the Manager.
• Conduct initial Physical Therapy evaluations and re-evaluations.
• Develop and review patient care plans in conjunction with a Physiatrist.
• Participate in clinical quality assurance initiatives.
• Provide patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentation.
• Complete reporting activities as required by regulatory and departmental standards, including:
  • Daily notation of therapy.
  • Progress reports with updates.
  • Rehabilitation rounds/staff conferences.
  • Other assigned activities (e.g., splinting).
• Comply with established policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control, confidentiality of patient information, customer service, attendance, punctuality, dress code, professional conduct, and annual health assessments.
• Participate in all departmental in-services and staff development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (PT) with a NYS license as a registered Physical Therapist (PT) or in process with permit.
• Must maintain license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical pediatric environment.

Pay

$80 per hour.
