Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist:
- Assesses, plans, organizes, and administers rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
Requirements
- Education/Training/Certifications: Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum approved by one of the following: The American Physical Therapy Association; The Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association; The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Current Physical Therapist state license
- Excellent verbal and written communication, service orientation, critical thinking, instructing, listening & time management.
- Minimum 2 years practicing as Physical Therapist; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
