ER at Blue Diamond, an extension of Spring Valley Hospital, is a freestanding emergency department providing 24/7 emergency care to infants, children, and adults. It has achieved TJC Advanced Certifications in Acute Stroke Ready and Acute Heart Attack Ready.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive evaluation of performance components affecting functional mobility.
• Deliver goal-oriented treatment to facilitate the maximum level of independence for patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from a university program satisfying APTA academic and intern requirements for competence.
• Nevada State License as a Registered Physical Therapist (may work as a Graduate of Physical Therapy with Board of Physical Therapy Examiners recognition and on-site direct supervision).
• Current BLS certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of patients served on the assigned unit/department.
