About the role

Provides physical therapy evaluation, treatment planning, and interventions for pediatric patients, ensuring care aligns with professional standards and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develops individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
  • Executes evidence-based physical therapy interventions.
  • Educates patients and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques.
  • Manages documentation, billing, and scheduling.
  • Supervises support staff as needed.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Coordinates with physicians and vendors for evaluations and equipment needs.
  • Participates in clinical instruction and departmental committees.
  • Provides outpatient pediatric care, including visits to schools, daycare centers, and residential facilities.
  • Supports seating and equipment assessments for pediatric patients.

Requirements

  • Current physical therapy license.
  • Degree from an accredited physical therapy program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate).
  • Pediatric pelvic floor specialists must maintain Level I Herman & Wallace certification or equivalent.
