Physical Therapist - Pediatrics

Role Overview Provides skilled physical therapy services in an outpatient setting, focusing on evaluation and treatment of pediatric patients. The role includes establishing treatment plans, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare teams, delegating tasks to assistants and students, and completing documentation per departmental policies. Responsibilities Develops and implements treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment requirements.Educates and consults with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making appropriate referrals.Delegates interventions to assistants, techs, and students based on competency levels.Performs assessments, reassessments, and consultations for physical therapy services. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (PT) required; Master's Degree preferred.Licensed as a Physical Therapist.Experience or interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation is preferred.Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. Key Duties Provide comprehensive, high-quality pediatric physical therapy care.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate families.Delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring patient safety and effective interventions.Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with policies.
