Role Overview
This full-time Physical Therapist position involves providing skilled evaluation and treatment services with a focus on pelvic floor rehabilitation, with opportunities to develop expertise in this specialty. The role includes establishing treatment plans, educating and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers, delegating tasks to assistants and students, and completing documentation according to policies. The caseload offers diversity and the chance to work in an established pelvic floor program while collaborating with specialized fields such as orthopedics, GI, neurology, cardiology, and pulmonology. Professional development and continuing education support are provided.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid Physical Therapist License
- No prior experience required
- Master's Degree preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional goals
- Educates and consults with patients, families, and healthcare teams, making referrals as needed
- Delegates interventions to assistants and students based on skill levels
- Completes accurate documentation in line with departmental policies
- Performs assessments, reassessments, and consultations for physical therapy services
