Job Description
The primary responsibility of a Physical Therapist at East Central KS Special Ed Coop is to provide therapeutic treatment to individuals with disabilities, focusing on improving their physical function and quality of life.

About the Role
This position requires a licensed Physical Therapist to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients.
Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy sessions to improve mobility and strength
- Document progress and communicate with clients, families, and other healthcare providers
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Kansas
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current CPR certification
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient care are essential qualifications for this role.
Skills
Proficiency in using medical equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are required.
