Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care upon physician referral.
- Perform patient care utilizing correct body mechanics.
- With consideration to age, utilize the approved process to resolve biophysical, psychological, educational and environmental needs of patient/significant others when administering care.
- Evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses for patients who may be infants, children, adults or geriatric patients.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in California, or be eligible to take the examination for licensure in the State of California.
- Must maintain a current California Physical Therapy license.
- Valid BLS CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
Preferred qualifications
- Basic computer skills in Windows preferred.
- Some physical therapy experience preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Pay & schedule
Salary: 47.50-79.70 per hour. Shift: Days.
