About the role

The outpatient therapy department operates thirteen clinic locations serving all of Waukesha County. These thirteen locations combine to complete over 13,000 outpatient visits monthly. Clinical staff provide care for patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular and medical diagnoses. The department consists of over 108 therapists to provide rehab services including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Additionally, we offer pediatric rehab and cancer rehab as clinic specific specialty services.

Responsibilities

- Evaluates individuals referred for physical therapy services. - Establishes a physical therapy diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of treatment. - Re-assesses the ongoing effects of treatment. - Collaborates with and provides consultation to others in care delivery. - Supervises physical therapist assistants and aides.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher. - Current State of WI Physical Therapist licensure. - Current BLS (CPR) certification or ability to obtain upon hire. - At least 1 year of related therapy experience preferred.

Qualifications

- No weekend or holiday requirements.

Skills

- Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).

Pay

- Full Time / Part Time: Part Time with Benefits - FTE: 0.50

Schedule

- Clinics are open from 7am-7pm Monday through Thursday and 7am to 5:30pm on Fridays. - Need to work until 7 PM generally one evening per week. - Job requires ability to provide coverage for absences of regular staff due to vacations, medical leave, etc., and will need to be able to work at any of our 13 clinics in our service region.
