Physical Therapist - Outpatient - (PT)

About the role

Evaluate, treat, and document care for a diverse patient population. Develop individualized treatment plans, use manual therapy and exercise prescription, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Use manual therapy techniques and prescribe exercises to improve patient function.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients to build trust and adapt care to their needs.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut state licensure or eligibility.
• CPR certification.
• Experience with outpatient orthopedic cases and EMR systems is valued.

Qualifications

• A degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist (Compact accepted).
• No more than 30 days of gap in work history in the last 7 years.
• One reference in the last 24 months.
