Physical Therapist or PTA

About the role

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist to join our Rehab Services department on a Per Diem basis. This role is for Inpatient and Outpatient.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with various disabilities.
• Design and monitor therapeutic programs to ensure safe progression toward therapeutic goals.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist (PT): Bachelor's Degree. Completion of a physical therapy course approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals and the American Medical Association in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA): Graduate of an accredited two-year college program approved by the APTA with proof of successful completion of the program.
• PT: Licensed as a physical therapist in the State of Wisconsin or eligible for licensing.
• PTA: Licensed as a physical therapist assistant in the State of Wisconsin or eligible for licensing.
• Current BLS certification.

Skills

• Basic computer competency skills are expected for this position.
• Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills. Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, and write a letter.

Schedule

Per Diem, 2 shifts per month (if shifts are available), Monday–Friday.
