About the Role
University Orthopedics is seeking a dynamic, motivated Physical Therapist to join our Physical Therapy staff in North Easton, MA. The Physical Therapist completes comprehensive examinations to determine body structure and function level impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions. Establishes diagnosis, prognosis, and develops an individualized plan of care. Implements treatment interventions and performs ongoing evaluations throughout the episode of care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients of various ages with musculoskeletal dysfunction.
- Design and discuss appropriate treatment interventions based on findings in evaluation.
- Perform necessary documentation to ensure compliance with federal and insurance regulations.
- Manage patient progress through therapy.
- Provide timely and appropriate billing information for services provided.
- Other clinical duties as assigned by the PT Department to meet patient needs.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Manager to meet department needs.
- Must be able to travel to all sites if/when necessary.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in the State of MA & State of RI.
- Previous experience in outpatient orthopedics/musculoskeletal rehab preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
