Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Physical Therapist – Neuro OutpatientAs a Physical Therapist at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating patients with neurological conditions in our outpatient neuro rehabilitation program. You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that promote mobility, restore function, and enhance quality of life for individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other neurological disorders.This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment where your expertise in neuro rehab will be valued and supported. You’ll also provide guidance to support personnel to ensure consistent, high-quality care throughout the patient journey.Qualifications:Current Physical Therapy licensure in the State of Idaho and/or Oregon.Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.Previous experience in Acute Care or Rehabilitation preferred.Key Responsibilities:Deliver direct patient care and coordinate therapy services across clinical areasDevelop and implement evidence-based treatment plansEvaluate and document patient progress; communicate effectively with the care teamEducate patients and families to support treatment goalsSupervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Therapy AidesParticipate in staff training, continuing education, and quality improvement initiativesMaintain timely and accurate documentationDemonstrate commitment to our Mission, Vision, and Values in all interactionsHighlights and Benefits:At Saint Alphonsus, we believe that supporting our team members helps them provide the best care to our patients.
