Physical Therapist - Long-term Acute Care - (PT - Acute)

About the role

Physical Therapists in this role will work in a Long-term Acute Care (LTAC) setting, helping patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve mobility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Administer therapeutic exercises
• Monitor patient progress
• Educate patients and families about therapy goals and self-care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Accurately document patient care

Requirements

• Hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
• Be licensed in Tennessee
• Specialization in orthopedics, sports, neurology, or geriatrics is valued
• Stay current with physical therapy advancements

Qualifications

• Experience in a LTAC setting is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in computer software for documentation

Pay

$2300.00 - $2370.00 per week
