Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

About the Role

Responsible for coordinating and delivering physical therapy services, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote patient health and recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients through data collection and observation.
  • Design and review personalized treatment programs, instructing patients and caregivers as needed.
  • Utilize activities and strategies to achieve therapy goals, adjusting plans based on ongoing assessments.
  • Provide direct therapy across various settings, aligning care with medical and rehabilitation plans.
  • Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and related reports.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, participating in care conferences.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in professional development activities, staying current with best practices.
  • Supervise and oversee physical therapy assistants, technicians, and students to ensure safe, effective care.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment use and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Active state license as a Physical Therapist.
  • Ability to perform essential functions, including effective communication, visual acuity, and hearing.
  • Commitment to professional growth and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
