Physical Therapist - Inpatient/Outpatient
PeaceHealth Rehab & Wellness Center in Florence, Oregon is seeking a Physical Therapist who will split time between Inpatient and Outpatient for a full-time, 0.90 FTE, day position. The salary range is $51.55 - $72.78 per hour, with the hiring rate dependent on education, training, work experience, and other factors. Relocation and hiring bonuses may be available.

Responsibilities include delivering rehabilitation services to a diverse outpatient caseload and providing care to inpatients in a 21-bed Critical Access Hospital, including a Swing bed rehab program served by a dynamic interdisciplinary team.
The spacious, remodeled gym is equipped with newer equipment, such as electric mat tables, powered parallel bars, Sci-fit bikes, and RealEyes xDVR Video Goggles for a dynamic vestibular program. Each therapist has a computer-on-wheels for point-of-service documentation.
Florence, located on the Oregon Coast at the mouth of the Siuslaw River, offers a lifestyle inspired by the great outdoors, with breathtaking beaches, rolling sand dunes, lakes with hiking trails, and a picturesque historic downtown.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate assigned patients and establish a treatment plan and goals using data from patient records, interviews, observation, and team members.
- Provide patient treatment according to the plan of care, modifying it to meet patient needs and updating it as appropriate.
- Complete documentation accurately, timely, and in compliance with regulatory, state licensure, and professional standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth, continuous care of patients.
- Act as a liaison with nursing, medical, and other therapy staff to facilitate problem-solving, coordination of services, and serve as an educational resource.
- Mentor and provide oversight to new caregivers, physical therapist assistants, and/or therapy aides.
- Provide clinical instruction and training to students.
- Recommend and participate in the development of new services and programs, quality improvement, and monitoring activities.
- Participate in staff meetings, patient care meetings, educational in-services, caregiver orientation, and other professional activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (or foreign equivalent).
- Physical Therapist License in the State of Oregon.
- Basic Life Support certification (required upon hire).
