Pen Bay Hospital offers care in more than 30 specialty areas and is a designated stroke center, providing stroke patients with the best possible opportunity for recovery. The Inpatient/Skilled Rehab department at this location is a cohesive and innovative team that cares for a wide range of patients.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy evaluations
• Develops treatment plans
• Carries out treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability
• Helps patients reach their maximum performance in accordance with the Plan of Care prescribed by the provider
• Provides care based on established standards by the American Physical Therapy Association

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapist program required
• Licenses/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Physical Therapist required or in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date
• Experience: One year of experience working in a hospital, long-term care, home, school system, or outpatient Physical Therapy department preferred
