Job Summary

The Industrial Physical Therapist provides onsite physical therapy services focused on injury prevention, early intervention, functional improvement, and ergonomic risk reduction. This role partners with the client and internal WorkCare teams to support employee health, reduce injury-related costs, and promote safe, sustainable work performance.

Schedule

50 hours per week; Monday - Friday 7:00am - 6:00pm. (10 hours of overtime each week).

Qualifications

  • Education / Licensure & Experience: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent). Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice. Current CPR/BLS certification. 2–5 years of clinical Physical Therapy experience required. Experience in occupational health, ergonomics, industrial rehabilitation, or sports medicine preferred.
  • Skills And Competencies: Clear understanding of scope of practice and regulatory compliance. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate the ability of maintaining privacy and confidentiality. Strong critical thinking skills; problem solving, and decision making. Must have the ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports. Ability to manage multiple priorities, with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to create and edit written materials. Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors and clients. Strong time management, organizational, and follow-through skills. Ability to meet and exceed daily and weekly individual performance goals. Ability to work independently as well as assisting other team members when needed. Requires regular and predictable attendance and punctuality. Strong clinical skills. Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Windows operating system environment, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to learn and use electronic medical records and client reporting systems.
  • Physical Demands: Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk. Some bending and stretching could be required. Working under stress and use of computer/phone required. Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard. Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch. Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds and climb stairs.

Pay and Benefits

Hourly pay range: $48 - $58
Annual earnings range, including overtime: $137,000 - $165,000 per year.
Final compensation for this position depends on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
