Physical Therapist III
About the Role
Provides direct patient care through evaluation and treatment for the patient population served, considering age and condition. Actively seeks to improve personal knowledge and skills while contributing to the development of others. Demonstrates appropriate leadership and participates in interdisciplinary activities as needed.
Requirements
- Graduation with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree from an APTA-accredited school of Physical Therapy.
- Less than three years of licensure.
- Current valid license or eligibility for licensure for Physical Therapy by The North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
Pay
Clinical Ladder Pay Range: $79,664.00 - $116,116.00.
Schedule
Full-time position, 40 hours per week, primarily 8 am - 5 pm with a weekend rotation for Saturday once a month. May cover shifts at both ECU Health Chowan Hospital and ECU Health Bertie Hospital.

ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving 110,000 people across 6 counties. The facility offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic, and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. A 7-bed emergency department serves approximately 15,000 patients annually. Team members have access to a telemedicine link with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
