About the role

The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services to the patient by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care and treatment programs. The therapist participates in varied Rehabilitation Services department activities designed to enhance patient care and programs. A Physical Therapist II demonstrates advanced evaluation and treatment skills and is involved in program development, staff education, student supervision. Also demonstrates emerging leadership skills and mentors department staff. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care and treatment programs
• Participate in Rehabilitation Services department activities to enhance patient care and programs
• Demonstrate advanced evaluation and treatment skills
• Participate in program development, staff education, and student supervision
• Demonstrate emerging leadership skills and mentor department staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of clinical Therapist experience meeting requirements of Level I responsibilities as determined by interview and assessment
• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• WI state license as a Physical Therapist
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 3 months of hire

• Proficient at all PT level 1 competencies
• Able to maintain productivity level
• Potential to take on additional responsibilities
• May require clinical expertise in specific discipline
