Physical Therapist II - Burn Therapist

About the role

The Physical Therapist II evaluates and treats patients of all ages with various diagnoses, including neurologic, orthopedic, post-surgical, and complex medical conditions, in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Develops individualized, developmentally appropriate treatment plans using exercises, manual therapy, and equipment to promote recovery and reduce pain.
• Collaborates with physicians, case managers, and insurance representatives.
• Documents progress.
• Supervises therapy staff.

Requirements

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
• Is licensed by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Has current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
