Physical Therapist I: Per Diem days, IP MMC, 2 Weekend Days per Month

About the role

The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who will provide exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Patient evaluation
• Establishing plans of care and treatment programs
• Providing interventions
• Providing patient and family education
• Documenting interventions
• Billing appropriately
• Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation
• Participates in the orientation of new staff members
• Serves as a clinical instructor for students
• Exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases and with minimal to no supervision

Requirements

• New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program
• Preferred Experience in Acute Care in large academic medical setting
• Preference given to candidates that have completed a successful clinical affiliation with Atlantic Health
• Preference given to candidates with Board Certification as Specialist in an area suitable for care in an acute care setting
