Physical Therapist I - Full Time - Days - 8hr QVH

Job Summary

Physical Therapists provide high quality, comprehensive and patient- centered Physical Therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Patient evaluation and assessment
• Development and administration of a treatment plan
• Documentation and communication with physicians and other referral sources
• Handling and administration of medications according to legal guidelines
• Clinical guidance to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Work with various healthcare team members to assure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care

Job Requirements

• Minimum Education Requirement : Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program required.
• Minimum Experience Requirement : Excellent Customer Service Skills Required.
• Minimum License Requirement : California licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure as a PT by the Physical Therapy Board of the California State Board of Health Professions.
• BLS required.
• Annual 2 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH.
• Annual 4 hours of Orthopedic Education required.

Pay Range

$47.19 - $73.14
