About the role

The Physical Therapist Home-Fargo will provide compassionate, personalized care in the home. Our skilled staff improves lives by providing care for our patients wherever they call home. We are focused on caring for patients recovering from injuries, living with a chronic illness, and other medical needs.

The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats disabilities, injuries, and disease using a range of manual therapy, modalities, and exercises. They also provide education and consulting services. The Physical Therapist complies with all regulatory, professional, ethical, quality improvement, and facility standards, performs charting and patient progress notes, and supervises, trains, and assists department personnel. The Physical Therapist serves in a multidisciplinary capacity, providing services to a wide variety of populations, which may include pediatric, medical/surgical, orthopedics, outpatient, and homecare services.

You should be personable, positive, and motivated to provide quality care to a wide variety of patients every day.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care including evaluation and treatment of patients referred by providers
  • Provide appropriate supervision for Physical Therapist Assistants and support personnel
  • Complete documentation related to patient care in a timely manner
  • Participate in and provides educational in-services for staff and providers
  • Collaborate with healthcare team and provides professional recommendations regarding patient care
  • Participate in patient related care coordination activities (care conferences, etc.)

Requirements

  • Possesses a degree from a baccalaureate, Masters or Doctorate program in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization
  • Licensed to practice as physical therapist within the State of ND
  • Two years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist
  • Possesses and maintains current CPR certification
  • Current MN Driver’s license

Preferred

  • Community/home health experience

Pay

The posted compensation range of $38.34 - $57.03 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess a degree from a baccalaureate, Masters or Doctorate program in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization, be licensed to practice as physical therapist within the State of ND, have two years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist, possess and maintain current CPR certification, and have a current MN Driver’s license.
