Physical Therapist Geriatric Resident

About the role
This position is a Physical Therapy Resident within a team-oriented sports medicine rehabilitation program at Ohio State University. Services are provided via outpatient service sites to patients with orthopedic and sports-related injuries.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with Ohio's laws and rules governing physical therapy.
- Work under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Manager and the Manager responsible for education coordination.
- Report to a team leader but also accountable to peers, physical therapists, supervisors (rehab assistants and athletic trainers), and other participants involved in patient care.
Requirements
- Hold current licensure with the State of Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Training Boards or the Ohio Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Meet educational and/or certification requirements established by respective professions.
- Hold current American Heart Association BLS certification (preferred).
