Symbria is looking for a skilled and passionate Physical Therapist to join our employee-owned team at DeKalb County Nursing Home in DeKalb, IL. You’ll make a direct impact by helping patients recover from injuries and improve their physical function through assessment, personalized treatment plans, and guidance to regain strength, alleviate pain, and enhance quality of life.

About the role

This position offers flexible scheduling as either Part-Time (20 hours per week) or Full-Time (30 hours per week). New graduates are encouraged to apply—we provide mentorship, training, and hands-on experience to support your career growth.

Responsibilities

• Establish goals and design personalized treatment plans to meet patient needs.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants to ensure effective care.
• Maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation.
• Collaborate as a key member of our interdisciplinary team to drive meaningful patient outcomes.
• Help patients achieve critical health outcomes and contribute to community well-being.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid state license or pending license (for newer graduates).
• Experience in acute care, long-term care, or rehabilitation is a plus but not required.
