Physical Therapist - Full-time Outpatient

About the role

This role is for a Physical Therapy Clinician responsible for evaluating and treating patients based on current PT principles, adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and institutional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct physical therapy evaluations, re-evaluations, set goals, and make discharge recommendations in line with standards of practice.
• Provide patient-centered treatments, education, and progress therapeutic interventions.
• Document care using appropriate forms and collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Supervise PTAs and technicians, manage schedules, and participate in program development.
• Engage in continuing education, deliver in-service training, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
• Current D.C. license or eligibility for licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification.
