Physical Therapist - Full-time Outpatient

About the role

The Physical Therapy Clinician evaluates and treats patients following current physical therapy principles and standards, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient evaluations, sets goals, and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Provides therapeutic interventions and documents patient progress according to established standards.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team and supervises physical therapist assistants (PTAs) and technicians.
• Participates in program development, continuing education, and staff training initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
• Current D.C. physical therapy license or eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Maintains ongoing professional development through continuing education.
