About the role

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Pee Dee Division (Florence, SC; Marion, SC and Black River Medical Center) is currently seeking top notch Physical Therapists to join their phenomenal team! Up to 20k sign-on bonus and tuition reimbursement assistance!

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in various settings including acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient rehab.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment and goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct evaluations and progress assessments to monitor patient improvement and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately and timely.
  • Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional development.

Requirements

  • A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of South Carolina.
  • Experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, and/or outpatient rehab preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and procedures.
  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to physical therapy practice.

Skills

  • Skilled in manual therapy techniques.
  • Knowledgeable in orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Schedule
