About the role
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Pee Dee Division (Florence, SC; Marion, SC and Black River Medical Center) is currently seeking top notch Physical Therapists to join their phenomenal team! Up to 20k sign-on bonus and tuition reimbursement assistance!
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in various settings including acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient rehab.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct evaluations and progress assessments to monitor patient improvement and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional development.
Requirements
- A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of South Carolina.
- Experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, and/or outpatient rehab preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and procedures.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to physical therapy practice.
Skills
- Skilled in manual therapy techniques.
- Knowledgeable in orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Schedule
