Physical Therapist - Full Time
Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa, located in Mitchell County with a population of 10,600. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties such as General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and Podiatry. Founded over 75 years ago, MCRHC operates three clinics, 24/7 emergency services, inpatient and outpatient medical/surgical services, and has invested millions in facility upgrades in recent years. About the Role
Provides physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in accordance with physician-approved treatment plans. Ensures quality physical therapy care and regulatory guideline compliance leading to positive patient outcomes. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat a variety of patients, with approximately 25% being inpatients (acute and swing bed) and 75% being outpatients covering a range of ages and conditions.
Schedule
1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period), Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Graduate of a university approved by the American Physical Therapy Association with at least a Master’s in Physical Therapy.
- Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the state of Iowa.
- At least 2 years of physical therapy practice experience preferred.
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
