About the role
Under the direction of the Team or Clinic Manager, the Physical Therapist administers physical therapy in accordance with state law regarding the practice of physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Physical Therapist must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served—pediatric through geriatric—and interpret data reflective of the patient's status to meet age-specific needs. The role includes functional supervision of PTAs and support personnel during clinical activities.

Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care based on patient age and cultural needs
- Conduct orthopedic examinations and differential diagnoses
- Apply manual therapy techniques and prescribe therapeutic exercises
- Utilize evidence-based rehabilitation practices
- Educate and motivate patients through coaching
- Manage an independent caseload with strong time management
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Document care using electronic medical records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from a school approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (required)
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (preferred)
- Licensed (temporary or permanent) as a Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania; permanent licensure must be obtained within a reasonable timeframe
- Clearance by PA State Police criminal history check and PA Department of Public Welfare Child Abuse Central Register (Childline) and Cogent
- Valid PA driver’s license for travel
- CPR certification (required and must be maintained)
Qualifications
- New graduates acceptable; 1–2 years of physical therapy experience preferred
- Preferred certifications:
- Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS)
- Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS)
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
