Physical Therapist FT Days

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury.
• Implement and revise treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, providing education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
• Establish and evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans alongside physicians and patients.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge information according to departmental guidelines.
• Adhere to ethical practices, maintain confidentiality, and promote a positive, respectful environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members, participate in meetings, and organize workload efficiently.
• Engage in professional development, complete required competencies and education, and assist in training new staff.

Requirements

• Minimum education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Licenses and certifications: PT license, BLS certification (or equivalent).
• Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
