Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, adhering to state practice guidelines.
- Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinating with the PT for evaluation and referral.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- One year of SNF experience and willingness to travel to multiple facilities.
