About the role
Provide coverage for clinics across the Portland Metro area, stepping in when team members are out on vacation or sick leave. Flexible hours to fit your schedule, potentially transitioning into a part-time or full-time role.
Responsibilities
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding treatments and goals.
- Evaluate physical and functional status, cognitive, psychological, and perceptual abilities to determine patient capabilities.
- Document evaluations, treatments, and coordination of care contacts according to facility policies.
- Independently manage your case load to optimize the care plan.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and facility policies.
- Support special projects and other designated activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Physical Therapist license or anticipated completion of DPT coursework and exams within 6 months.
- Commitment to top quality patient care.
- Eagerness to develop skills and support team members.
