About the role

SSM Health Physical Therapy is seeking a dynamic physical therapist to primarily work on-site treating employees with acute orthopedic injuries at Boeing in Hazelwood, MO. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and passionate clinician dedicated to ensuring timely patient care and coordinating with the on-site medical team. The role also offers opportunities to deliver on-site injury prevention services.

SSM Health Physical Therapy is the premier provider of comprehensive outpatient services, with a network of more than 80 outpatient centers throughout the St. Louis Metro area. We specialize in treating sports, orthopedic, hand, and work-related injuries, supported by a team of over 700 physical, occupational, and speech therapists.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Design functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities.
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
• Perform other professional duties related to patient care, development of therapy services, and program delivery design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (required).
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist (required).
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification (required).
