Physical Therapist - Bishop

$10,000 retention bonus paid at 18 months for full-time positions.

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated and highly skilled team comprised of avid outdoors enthusiasts (skiers, snowboarders, rock climbers, triathletes, mountaineers, ultramarathoners!) in our Bishop outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• 1:1 Patient care with one 45-minute appointment every hour.
• Performs appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on the patient’s diagnosis.
• Develop treatment plans, including reassess and revise every 12 weeks or earlier based on patient's progress.
• Performs physical therapy techniques appropriate to the diagnosis.
• Demonstrates use of physical therapy modalities appropriate to the diagnosis.
• Documents progress reports for patients in a timely manner to coincide with physician follow-up visits, and to assist with compliance for insurance carriers and utilization review companies for authorization and reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy and a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments.
• Minimum of one year PT experience preferred.

Pay

Starting wage $52.34 to $63.44 based on qualifications.
