About the role

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Primary Care Physical Therapist to service our patients throughout the Aiken area. Your Health Org is the perfect opportunity for you if you have a passion for providing patient care, improving outcomes, and building community relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Performs visits in homes, ALF's, ILF's, clinics, and via Telehealth.
  • Provides high quality care for our patients, focusing on the highest standards of care.
  • Obtains complete health and psychosocial history and records findings in a systematic format.
  • Performs complete physical assessment, provides health education and counseling.
  • Arranges referrals to other members of the health team as needed and to community resources.
  • Uses appropriate reporting mechanisms as required by law, respects the dignity, confidentiality, and privacy of patients, obtains appropriate authorization and consents for treatments, reviews patient’s medical diagnosis, prognosis, procedures, and clinical course.
  • Marks and provides community education.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a Physical Therapy training program and certified thought the therapy state board.
  • A current license to practice in the state of SC.
  • A current CPR Certificate.
  • Previous experience in healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, and other places.
  • Ability to utilize electronic documentation required.
  • Experience and/or interest in Pelvic Health is preferred.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to interact in a positive and motivating manner.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing physical therapy practice.

Pay

This is a salary-based position, with the opportunity to receive a monthly bonus.

Schedule

This is a full-time 8-hr position (8:00AM-5:00PM) (Monday-Friday).
