Physical Therapist

About the role

Physical therapists at St Joseph Medical Center play a crucial role in helping patients recover and maintain their physical wellbeing. They perform initial evaluations, develop and update individualized plans of care, and provide various direct treatments.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment/data collection, interprets findings and formulates treatment plans.
• Implements and updates therapeutic plan of care and treatment based on patient needs.
• Provides treatments such as transfer and mobility training, strengthening, range of motion, use of therapeutic modalities, home evaluation, family training, equipment recommendations, and ordering.
• Audits clinical signs and symptoms to determine effectiveness of treatment and progress towards goals.
• Completes all required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and families.
• Promotes a positive customer service environment.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program and completion of Clinical Fieldwork.
• LEAD: Minimum of two years of clinical physical therapy experience.
• Basic Life Support - CPR.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in rehabilitation, orthopedic, medical/surgical settings.
• Two (2) years full-time experience within the last five years, with caseload emphasis on physical disabilities, medical/surgical, orthopedic, or pain management.
• Two (2) years full-time experience within last five years recommended, with caseload emphasis acute physical disabilities, especially in the treatment of lymphedema.

Pay

The posted compensation range is $47.41 - $78.23 /hour, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

Schedule

Full-time position with a weekly schedule of Sun-Thur (9:00-5:30) and a shift of Day.
