Physical Therapist

Role Overview

Provides direct and indirect patient care to support rehabilitation and restore normal body function after illness or injury. Implements treatment plans, administers modalities, trains patients in transfers and gait, and supervises PT Assistants and Aides.

Key Responsibilities

• Engages in professional growth, adapts to various work settings, and collaborates on community education programs.
• Develops treatment plans after initial evaluations, ensures continuity of care through accurate documentation and communication, and maintains a professional demeanor.
• Demonstrates clinical competence, safely transfers patients with impairments, and responds effectively to specific task requests.

Qualifications & Skills

• Must communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and work well under pressure.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master's or Doctorate degree.
• Essential skills in patient interaction, electronic health records, and proficiency in computer applications.
• Certifications required: PT licensure and BLS.
