Responsibilities

• Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding treatments and goals, safety risks, and other relevant issues within scope of practice.
• Evaluate physical and functional status, cognitive, psychological, and perceptual abilities to assess patient capabilities for safe functioning.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and coordination of care contacts according to facility policies.
• Manage a case load independently to optimize care plans.
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and facility policies.
• Support special projects and other activities aligned with the organization's mission and values.

Requirements

• Physical Therapist license or anticipated completion of DPT coursework and exams within 6 months.
• A commitment to top-quality patient care.
• An eagerness to develop skills and support team members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Manual therapy skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively.

Pay

Base compensation is $85,000-$95,000+ with a total compensation package of $96,000-$106,000+ depending on experience and fit.

Schedule

Hours vary based on location and department needs.
