About the role
The Physical Therapist at Harmony House and Regency Omak supports occupational/physical therapist assistants by providing training and guidance, maintaining detailed documentation, and administering a wide range of therapy services.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, organize, and administer physical therapy services according to current standards and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records management.
- Collaborate with all disciplines and adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines.
- Provide therapeutic procedures and support patient referrals.
- Develop realistic treatment goals and prepare written treatment programs based on evaluations.
- Administer manual exercises and instruct patients in various physical activities.
- Record treatment, responses, and progress in patient charts.
- Instruct patients and families on treatment procedures.
- Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, recommending modifications as necessary.
- Contact referring physicians regarding patient care concerns.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Prior to employment, possess a current, unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapist in the state of employment.
