About the role

The Physical Therapist at Harmony House and Regency Omak supports occupational/physical therapist assistants by providing training and guidance, maintaining detailed documentation, and administering a wide range of therapy services.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, organize, and administer physical therapy services according to current standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records management.
  • Collaborate with all disciplines and adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Provide therapeutic procedures and support patient referrals.
  • Develop realistic treatment goals and prepare written treatment programs based on evaluations.
  • Administer manual exercises and instruct patients in various physical activities.
  • Record treatment, responses, and progress in patient charts.
  • Instruct patients and families on treatment procedures.
  • Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, recommending modifications as necessary.
  • Contact referring physicians regarding patient care concerns.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Prior to employment, possess a current, unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapist in the state of employment.
