About the role

The Physical Therapist at Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network (NRHN) is responsible for providing skilled care to a diverse range of patients, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in accordance with NRHN's mission and values. This position supports the organization's commitment to quality outcomes and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Treats a variety of age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
  • Supports the growth and development of the Department/Clinic through active participation in quality management activities.
  • Complies with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)/Occupational Therapist (OT)/Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with one year of experience preferred.
  • Inpatient Speech Therapists must be licensed in NH.
  • Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Outpatient Speech Therapists must be licensed in their respective states and eligible for licensure in alternate states (license to be obtained within 3 months of hire).
  • Inpatient PT employees will need a Maine license.
  • Per Diem therapists do not require an alternate state license.
  • Trained and certified in BLS Healthcare Provider Level CPR.
  • Required to work a minimum of two evenings per week in the Outpatient Department, or on the holiday and weekend rotation in the Inpatient Department.
