About the role
You'll provide compassionate, culturally grounded care to American Indian and Alaska Natives, addressing social and emotional needs that affect health. Work with a dedicated team to strengthen wellness, resilience, and community well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to American Indian and Alaska Native patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment programs.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and cultural competency.
Requirements
- A completed Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) where you plan to work.
- A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
Qualifications
- Experience working with American Indian and Alaska Native populations is preferred.
- Cultural sensitivity and understanding are essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
