About the role

Norton County Hospital has an immediate opening for a full-time outpatient Physical Therapist. The position requires applicants to obtain Kansas licensure and have graduated from an accredited program. Both experienced and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in a variety of settings.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education related to physical therapy.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Successfully pass the national certification exam.
  • Current Kansas licensure.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using medical software and equipment.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology relevant to physical therapy.
  • Experience with patient education and discharge planning.
