Patient Care & Treatment
Conducts comprehensive evaluations, testing, and treatment for patients with multiple medical conditions.
Educates patients and their families in a manner tailored to their needs.
Develops and adjusts individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals.
Ensures daily practices align with established patient care standards.
Recommends appropriate equipment for patient care.
Collaboration & Communication
Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Participates in interdisciplinary team conferences to enhance patient care.
Works cooperatively with other team members to maintain a positive and results-oriented work environment.
Collaborates with care teams and community resources for post-discharge planning and follow-up.
Responds to requests for professional information or advice, referring complex matters to appropriate personnel.
Mentorship
Mentors other staff, as appropriate.
Operational Responsibilities
Plans treatment schedules for optimal staff and equipment use.
Maintains productivity while adhering to quality standards.
Monitors and ensures compliance with infection control and sterile technique protocols.
Documents patient care details and records service charges accurately.
Manages inventory, equipment maintenance, and work area organization.
Professional Development & Compliance
Attends relevant educational in-services and professional activities to stay current on industry practices.
Works with the Leader to develop a professional growth plan.
Delegates tasks effectively as appropriate.
Adheres to all applicable policies, protocols, and regulations.
Physical Requirements
