Physical Therapist

About the role

The Physical Therapist at CHI St Alexius Garrison will organize and conduct medically prescribed therapy programs. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, designing and implementing rehabilitation programs, documenting patient notes, explaining treatment purposes to clients, managing a heavy caseload, developing new programs, and supervising students.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and design, implement, and progress rehabilitation programs
• Create clear home exercise plans for patients
• Ensure timely, complete, and accurate patient notes, certifications, and treatment instructions
• Clearly explain injury/condition, treatment purpose, and rehabilitation goals to clients
• Demonstrate ability to manage heavy caseloads by improving personal efficiency and working extended hours when necessary
• Develop new programs and collaborate with physicians to stimulate referrals and enhance care quality
• Supervise students, teach classes, provide public speaking, manage the department in the absence of a manager/staff PT, resolve departmental conflicts, and complete assigned reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensed or eligible for licensure by the North Dakota State Examining Committee of Physical Therapists

Pay

$33.63 - $48.17 /hour

Schedule

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
