Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore, and improve movement, activity, and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations (every 30 days, at minimum), and modify interventions as necessary.
• Perform discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• One year of related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care (or approval from regional clinical leaders with appropriate mentoring/residency program participation if less than one year).
• Current CPR certification.

Pay

$115,000 to $140,000 (varies by location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience).
