About the role
Tennessee Quality Care is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist to serve Shelby County, TN areas. This position offers flexible hours, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders.
- Provide skilled physical therapy services in accordance with the physician’s plan of care and state practice guidelines.
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and safety techniques.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications to promote independence and prevent injury.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Accurately complete clinical documentation, progress notes, and care plan updates in a timely manner.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) in accordance with company policy and state regulations.
- Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
- Home Health experience is preferred but not required.
- At least two (2) years of experience in an acute care or similar clinical setting preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
Qualifications

- Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
