About the role

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is looking for a talented Physical Therapy Assistant to support the physical therapy practice alongside Physical Therapists.

Responsibilities

• Carries out patient assignments within the scope of practice, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Conducts physical therapy care within the scope of practice and agency policies.
• Fulfills company policies and procedures.
• Maintains compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Promotes personal professional growth and participates in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Communicates changes in patient findings to the Physical Therapist and physician as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
• At least one year of licensed PTA clinical experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.
• Physical Therapy Assistant license or pending license required.

Monday to Friday with 2 evenings until 6:30p.
